Surprise visit at Davidson’s Bicycles

Ran around the lake, wasn’t planning on recording a Strava activity for it until I came across the legendary titanium bike builder - Bill Davidson. Much smaller shop than I expected for such a renown figure. Walked inside and there Bill was, hand building bikes like you’d expect. Turns out that Bill sold the shop to Christopher Wahl, who I also met, and they’re now working on a brand called “Mischief” titanium bicycles together. The most surprising thing I learned was that they don’t weld their own bikes. They have a single guy from Boeing who they’ve been using for decades and he comes down every weekend to weld a few bikes.
