200km Audax Singapore

Morning Ride

Happy International Women's Day! Chose to ride the 200km Audax Singapore with the team and boy was it so much fun! Worth cycling from home at 3:15am to make it to the 5am start across the Singapore-Malaysia border! So nice to catchup with Shirley (one of only 2 Singapore women who has finished PBP), Dan (#matadorRACING el presidente and Audax SG head), Colin Mitchell (who I had to prod!), Nic, Marie, Boram and Sarah. 

My last brevet was the 1200km GSR in Australia in October so this ride is a good fitness check on where I am as I get ready for some pretty awesome rides this year. Started the 200km audax at 5am and we were done with the 200km and found ourselves already at the SG-MY border by 12nn. Very very pleased with the 6:52 elapsed time. Nailed my long Z2 ride today! Yipee!
