Morning Run

Arrived late so no warm up. Started far back in wave 1 which actually worked well as I could move up through the groups as the run progressed. Found my rhythm in the second half. Felt very warm out with a stiff breeze in places, but managed to hold on and push through. Overall a great event with amazing crowd support (even if they were shouting Adam at me) that kept me going - would definitely recommend. Dug deep for a big sprint down the finishing chute to lock in a 2 second PB clocking 1:13:59. Great to see all the training pay off!
