great ride with a great squad. my 5th full century ride and my first on a gravel bike. i gotta say, it was a lot easier than the other four that were on a mountain bike. did a lot of fun gravel in the hurons and biked on the most beautiful road I've ever been on in the UP. i only forgot to start my watch one time in baraga, so add 6.5ish miles to this for the real distance. if you account for that, this is just barely my longest lifetime ride by about 2 miles.
thank you to the four other guys alongside me for an awesome friday of biking. this was my first hundred miler with people, and it was truly a pleasure. very proud of you guys, especially those who only biked 50 miles for the first time on sunday. my fellow teammates are truly incredible. and thank you very much to Maggie Gaunt​ and Sam Marshall​ for driving many miles for us today. you guys are the best.
