Incredible ride - definitely my strongest ride of the tour so far! After oversleeping my alarm by 1.5 hours and getting delayed another 30 minutes trying to figure out how to use the weird coffee machine in my hotel room 🤦‍♂️ I finally got on the road at 8:30 - I really didn’t want to ride in the dark on this road and I needed to have a really fast day to avoid that… and I did! First 16mph day of the trip, powered by new Gatorskin tires that I got at the bike shop yesterday, they feel significantly faster than my old Armadillos and I think I was slowing myself down a lot by swearing by Armadillos for so long. I made it to the outskirts of Prince George and will be turning south onto a new road tomorrow - as great of a ride as today was, I’m happy to be done with this road - there was a crazy amount of logging truck traffic and the shoulder was only sometimes good. Scenery looked a lot like the northeast at times today, less snowy mountains and more rolling hills and farmland. I’m only 3 days to Vancouver now, which will be a great milestone!

Total distance so far: 1710 miles (143 per day)!
