First ski day of the season! I went really deep into northern Vermont because this mountain had gotten 185 inches of snow already this year - I was so close to Canada that there were almost as many people speaking French in the lift lines as English. Conditions on the some of the groomers were surprisingly icy, but I found a couple runs with really good powder conditions and lapped those for most of the day. It snowed a few inches in the morning but the skies cleared up for the last two hours and the summit views were amazing! Looking forward to many more Northeast ski days this season.
