Ride Around Mt. Rainier in One Day.

Oh boy, this hurt. Felt amazing the first 50 miles. I found some strangers to draft and pull with and we had a big group by the first climb. The vibes and views were great. Then stomach pain hit me and the big 3rd climb was killer. My whole body ached. I seriously didn't think I could make it.

After some Advil and a beer at a restaurant stop and the motivation to eat real food at the 120 mile rest stop, I was able to press on. Thankfully I also found a group I could draft off of to carry me to the end.

I wish I had felt better because the roads were amazing. I would totally do this again!
