This trip was a big redemption for me bc i tried it earlier in the season and the outcome was horrible and wasn’t able to complete it with my split board in tour mode.  I will say that having no snow was  times easier to do this and going by means of clockwise i feel is the best way to go in order to avoid the huge verticals climbs from going counter clockwise.  

The trails were very visible and was easy to follow even though i had the trail downloaded on my phone.  The huge perk this trip was that the gate to the road was open so i was able to drive to the trailhead off freel which made it very nice not having to walk in and waste energy not even climbing the mountain.  

Was nice conditions but was a lil windy and nippy at the peaks but it kind of balanced out bc i was hot from running.  I brought 3L of water and a few snacks and Gu’s and a backup bottle of electrolytes and was totally fine!  Just had my running vest and did totally groovy! 

Scrambling down jobs sister to go over to jobs peak was interesting but easy enough as i was kind of jumping and hopping side to side going down.  The uphill to jobs peak looked gnarly but once you got up to it, it wasn’t all that bad bc the trails were fairly friendly and not straight up but were zigzagging decent to make it easy to not die 


When going down from jobs peak, it was pretty clear where to go to meet the trail down the hill.  Its a nice long down hill from the top and the trail is pretty clear.  Just be careful if you’re tired though bc it would be easy to slam from tripping. Towards the bottom you pretty much follow the road down… pretty straight forward.
