We’ll call it speed hiking. Maybe with a little running mixed in.

I haven’t done much the last five months. Prior to that I was running through a lot of pain in both knees. After an MRI I found out my medial meniscus is pretty much gone on both knees. So there’s a lot of arthritis and bone damage. Similar to what I was going through almost a decade ago with the left knee.
The last five months have been very challenging to say the least. Physically, mentally, spiritually.  And I’m not sure what’s ahead - not a lot of hope right now that I will run in the same way I used to. But I’m trying to have a lot of gratitude and I’m definitely grateful for beautiful mornings like this one.
