13th overall, 11th male. More to come later, maybe. But I wanted to thank my best friends for coming out to crew and pace me. I couldn't be surrounded by better people in my life that took care of me all day. Wesley Donaldson , Dan LaPlante , and Tyler Kilbury gave up their weekend to come make a dream come true for me. WIthout them I easily don't go under 24 hours to earn the Wolverine buckle. They were dialed with all my gear and nutrition and kept me company from mile 37 to the finish. 

The bear is a very special race. The colors were our of this world. I now have 32 tickets in the states lottery and I earned my first ticket to hard rock (after doing this, I really don't even know if I want to do hard rock uff). This course is no joke, you basically keep going up the entire time and then hit a massive downhill at the end which hurts like hell. My abs gave me troubles early on (not my stomach) and it was like someone punched my stomach over and over. Not sure what that was about, but it made running very painful. I knew I had to keep moving and run through the pain if I wanted the sub 24 hour finish. This came very apparent the last 25 miles with Tyler picked me up. He kept encouraging me and never once didn’t believe that I’d do it when I was doubting the entire time. I didn’t have my best race, but it is a 100 after all. I’d say I had the next best thing given what I was battling.
