Bit gruelling, really! Rode off with Milon Minkev from Team MK, but as has happened with him previously I dropped him without really increasing the pace at all. 
I then punctured near Tuddenham - I had fitted new TPU tubes from Vine yesterday, and these ones have plastic valves. I THOUGHT it was going to be them, but it was an actual puncture. Should have changed the rear tyre at the same time. 
Anyway, he and one other rider had gone up the road (although Milen helped with the tyre - my pump was playing up, and I didn't want to use my electric pump battery up.) It took me a while to catch them, and then a lot of riders took the old route, which is 6km shorter, so I had to re-catch them all over again! 
I was feeling rough by Swaffham, and needed lunch (long wait at the control cafe, and not great service, though the food was actually very good). The afternoon was a grovel - I rode a lot of it with Milen, but dropped him again just before Diss and finished ten minutes ahead of everyone else.
