There was a small crash in the tunnel before Alpe Tedesco⛰️, I was involved. I chased back to the first group solo, just when I got back we hit Alpe Tedesco. So I was to far at the back in the group at the bottom off the climb. Still managed to ride my way to the front and was in the first group off about ~8 riders at the top🚀:

🦅Alpe Tedesco: 12 min., 505 watt, 7,2 W/kg

I hit absolute PR numbers to ride past all those riders & towards the first group🚀
But on the downhill I hit a pothole & my saddle tilted so far I was not able to sit on it anymore. I rode until I saw a guy with a saddlebag that would hopefully could fix it🙏. But lost precious time & places in the proces😔. When it was fixed I lost atleast 200 places & was riding in heavy traffic on small roads😬. When I saw a friendly belgian from my hotel who had a flat tire & no pump or anything... I stopped &  helped him, but lost even more places & my race was completely over after that....

🦅All new power PB's for nothing😔:
5 min= 536 (7,66 W/Kg)
10 min = 519 (7,41 W/Kg)
 
So, definitely a total disappointment😢😔, This wasn't the reason I went to Italy🇮🇹..
