This was definitely the most disappointing piece of the race for me. I'm just so bad at running these days. Run came in a little shy of a full 5k - not like it mattered for me - my first mile was a sluggish 7:32, then 7:21, then 7:10. Wore the old Brooks Hyperion Tempos that I haven't put on my feet since 2023. 

First tri in 3 years, first time I've run off the bike this year. Finished 8th OA and 1st 40-44 but just not where I should be. 

Crazy warm weekend, made for the best possible two days for this race. Calm water, no wind, sunshine and 80+ degrees. S/O Mike for coming out to watch. 

Had a blinding headache the rest of the day.
