Cracking weather. Great fast racing with Tom S initially then I got a gap. Brill cloud inversion. Pretty wet underfoot (1977 record of 1:55 🚀 apparently crazy dry conditions).
Was pushing for sub 2, felt able to push well throughout, but a bit over the 2hrs in the end.
🥇 and a 20sec PB - I’ll take it!
Brilliant route, and class post race atmosphere
