Adventure/Challenge Month #1 - Run to Winnipeg

Sioux Center to Orange City and back.

I've wanted to run to Winnipeg from home for a long time. As a young kid, somehow my parents let me bike to St. Vital Mall (guessing I was 12 or 13), so this is my adult replication. Thankful that Tanya picked me up. Gas station stops to fuel this thing. Thanks to Scott Kemp for the encouragement out there. 

My hope is to do one unique adventure each month over the next year. Ideas that have gnawed at me or have thought, that would be fun to try. I seem to have a lot. 

Planning it out has been a lot of fun. There will be running, biking, paddling, skiing, and possibly some climbing, along with a few races.  Some solo, some with friends, some with family, most near home. Next month's "adventure"  (it has no adventure, just a challenge) is actually quite pathetic, but yet, it has been a thing, "I should do that sometime". Won't be as good for the kudos as this. 🤣
