Very grateful to my brother Carson for (subtly) cajoling me into staying an extra day to give it a go, and to my brother Spencer for picking me up on the highway after Carson dropped me off. Spencer also let me borrow his car for the effort. Good brothers.

Pre-dawn start because I had to catch the 8:20am bus to Reno. I believe this fits the ethic of the route — I first learned about via Peter Croft's story of a 3-hour pre-work lap. Now I almost got it sub-2. Trying to hone this speed scramble craft. I know there's more on the table.

This will be the last dry Sierra day this season. Snow storm coming in tomorrow.
