The rain turned to wet snow soon after leaving home and we were somewhat frozen by the time we reached Leatherhead. We couldn't face a day of riding in such cold conditions so we decided to bale out of the lovely ride that Francis had planned for today.
At Elevenses the weather app advised that the current temperature was 2°C with a 'real feel' of -6°. Blimey!
Substantial lunch at the Toby Carvery on the way home.
