Beautiful weather and a fat tailwind helped us to push on to a much further hut than planned. Weather tomorrow is looking grim with rain all day and very very high winds. Rainbow road was so pretty. After going through “Hells gate” and getting off the rainbow road the terrain completely changed without a tree in sight for miles and miles. Our cabin was sweet and a nice refuge from the rain that fell all night.
