Didn't really have an idea of where to go when I set off, but it was sunny at the bottom of the Nant y Moch climb so I thought I'd go that way then to the Arch. At the top the weather was turning so I decide to go down the big Furnace climb. I didn't even do that! at Llyn Conach I thought I'd lost my cape as it wasn't in my jersey pocket but I had put it in my saddlebag. I was so pleased that I kissed it!

Found a really picturesque gravel route into the Artists' Valley from Llyn Conach. I thought it was all new but looking at Veloviewer I have done some of those tracks before in the other direction. I came out on the valley road by the ford, didn't do it as it was very high.

The A487 was tolerable, quite busy, then it was a headwind to Ynyslas. I did some random side roads for Wandrer and did the hill out of Borth over to Llandre (lanes not main rd) then a new lane out of Rhydypennau and back to Bow Street.

I then cycled the coast path back from Clarach which I'd never done before. It's a nice way back to Aber avoiding the busy roads but there's always people on it. Rode back down the Consti road to the Prom. Very nice ride although I got very cold. Not sure if seal skin socks are leaking or if the water came in from the top. The puddles were very deep!‍
