Early effort on Atkinson as will definitely be too busy on Sunday.  Got the bulk of the climbing done on the first half then timed the tailwind to carry me home.   That’s what I told myself!  Haven’t seen that much of Auckland in a few years.   Man, it’s growing so fast.   Didn’t love the city riding.  Just a sea of cars.   Remember now why weekend long rides with mates is where it’s at.   Cramped in Avondale.   Pleased with my first imperial century in 3 years.  Bottom line: Auckland is a damn good big city for riding.  Love it.
