Overcast clouds, 28°F, Feels like 19°F, Humidity 78%, Wind 10mph from W - by Klimat-   Attempt to go to Menards for a trapper hat. Lower temperatures than expected- Phone says 28° Wahoo says 23° and I had thin gloves no chemical hand warmers.  The cold got to me at only 2 miles.  I stopped at a Speedway gas station.  They wanted $4.95 for 4 hot hands.   I opted out, couldn't just buy 1 or a pack of 2.   I went to the restroom and used the hand blower, it's 7:15 pm - both Home Depot and Menards close at 8 pm on Sunday so I rolled on over to nearby home depot.  They have no trapper hats.   They had some winter work gloves but I did not think they were worth it, not that thick.  I bought hot hands, two pack for 99 cents 1.06 with state sales tax It is now 7:35 so no chance to make Menards.  I turned around for my return ride and now had a tailwind and the previously frozen hand had a hot hands in the glove.  Rolled home and I'm now in.    I've been out of town so I've had no chance until now to score a ride for the week.  This puts one on for the week.
