Fun race that was a little longer than the weekday options.  Was well recovered and HR zones were adjusted up.  Threshold not until 168 and I was pretty comfortable at 165.  Still got dropped by A’s on the climb, but still with the front B riders.  Got gapped by them as well on the next climb, but felt like I was still in good position.  Stayed with them on the final few rollers and  planned to recover for flat sprint finish.  Played cards well and won the sprint with the remaining B’s, but got beat at the line by an A. 

Consumed 180 g (120 g in 1 hour race only). Burned 300 g and I felt like I was running out of gas for sure. Glucose spike from effort feels unavoidable.
