That was fun! Goal was to break 35min…35:00.7 lol.

Was probs in ~110th out ~120 competitors at 1k, but worked myself up to 79th by the finish. My 5k splits were 17:48/17:12. Felt strong the whole time, buoyed by a “Go Jackson!” every few minutes from a random assortment of friends.

A bit muddy in spots, a bit hilly in spots: proper xc, very fun. mentally engaged the whole race and had a really strong kick.
