- Sub 3 with a potty break (at 36k), I'll take it. Not mad at all, and I was smiling at the finish (mostly happy to be done)
- Knew I was in for a hot day, so started off more even conservative, took all the salt pills and gels that I could. Stayed consistent most of the way, but even I wasn't fast enough to beat the heat. By the last third of the race I knew I was slowing down and even my bib was also falling a part. At one point I saw the temperature at 24-25°c, I guess no race is untouchable by from global warming haha.
- Still enjoyed the hell out of this trip and experience. This will be a race I would 💯 come back to have another crack at.
