Quick update for my Strava peeps:

Back in July my primary found a murmur and sent me for some testing. Long story short they found a severe valve problem that needs to be fixed. Heart surgery in 10 days to hopefully repair the valve. Surgeon says I should be back to 100% if it goes well. Hoping to race again with you guys soon. 

PSA be your own advocate and get checked.  I originally wasn’t doing to have the echo because I was symptom free, but apparently things don’t have to be symptomatic.
