Spontaneously joined the big race with 2000+ riders on the start list. Was a few seconds late at the start so immediately had to chase. Made my way up to 50th place and joined the group that was riding there.  We picked up quite a few riders who dropped back until we were riding for 35th place. Kept cool until the sprint, but since it was downhill couldn’t rpm enough so had to settle for 39th. Did set a 20’ PR for this year I think so good effort 😅
