Training: Tempo Run w/10 Mile Minimum + Hills 
- Elevation Gain Goal Range: 800-1,200 Feet 

So I am starting a new series of training runs for the days I need runs with elevation gains Culpeper can’t provide. And for this series I will he starting each of these runs from all the lower trailheads of Shenandoah National Park like I did today! Today’s run started from the Entry Run Trailhead - Which is typically a very quiet trail that sees low amounts of hikers. 

This route had a perfect amount of challenge for a tempo run and was very exciting to see new roads through new terrains on foot. Lots of scenic views and nice features like riverside roads. With these lower trailhead starting points, all of these runs are going to have topographical profiles that more resemble running inti a canyon due to starting at the highest points of the runs, so no getting back to the truck easily with these runs. 

Felt amazing today, still coughing some shit up, still thrown into a coughing fit as soon as i finish the effort, but no issues breathing while running so everything is still improving.
