30:14.99 officially. A bit frustrated with that one. Pace started off slow again, what is it with Aussies and slow first Km's? Took the lead with Toby for a little bit and slipped into my rhythm. Ended up grinding solo from about 1200 to 5k. Got stuck at about 72s-73s for a while at the end and never really had a finish. A bit gutted after coming all this way over and running slower than I did over 2 years ago. Unsure on why this performance was so crap. Oh well, we go again next weekend over 5k. A little unsure on what I'll actually run, but I'll give it my best!
