Solstice ride: Sunrise to sunset, and beyond

Morning Ride

Grand Union Canal from Regents Park to Hemel Hempstead, a mix of road and off-road riding until Hertford, then Lea River canal all the way back to Hackney.

Got a puncture 10km from home in the rain and the dark, in middle-of-nowhere Tottenham. Nearly gave up and took public transport home but it was faster to just get on with it and change the tube. Fortunately I could still feel my hands.

Overall a really fun ride, discovered quite a few fun sections like the Nickey Line in Harpenden and Cole Green Way near Hertford.
