This morning was cold and wet, but luckily not too icy! Today was nearly all bike path with a couple of short steep climbs thrown in. As I  got closer to Seoul the bike path got wider and busier. The bike path infrastructure is incredible. Everything is well marked, the old railway tunnels have become bike tunnels, there are compressed air stations where you can clean your bike, and a public toilet every few kilometers. Because of this, there were a lot of cyclists! 

I had fun "racing" the guys on nice road bikes that weigh 1/5th as much of mine. They ways won the race, but it was still fun! I did join a pace line briefly, I bet it's nice to draft behind me and my big bike. Although I may have gotten a little too excited and dug a little too deep. Now my Garmin has given me a training readiness score of 1 and I think that's as low as it goes...

I also met two bike tourers from Portugal, we shared mutual stories of the cold, as if it would suddenly make it warmer. They came from Qingdao and had taken the train from Kazakhstan. According to them, it's easy to ship the bike by train. It helps a lot to know that it's possible, and that someone has gone through that process recently! They are on their way to Japan to work on an Oyster farm for the winter.

I was very surprised to see a Moots bike. We are both fare from home! But then I started to pay attention to what people were riding, and I saw several more! I guess they are very popular in South Korea.

I had a brutal climb up to my little basement apartment. But I can bring my bike inside and it's clean enough. I'm looking forward to exploring Seoul tomorrow, if I can walk!
