Gravel Ride 8: Great, if not the GOAT

Got a new kit from Annie for Xmas as well as a long-sleeve riding top that's absolutely rad, both from State Bicycle Co. to match the bike! It was far too warm today for the longsleeve but I convinced Annie, CC, and myself that I needed to go for a ride to test out the kit.

In seriousness, it was very tight when I first tried it on and I thought it might be too tight. But after a little research, it seems, "If it zips, it fits." But besides that, it actually felt really good once I got going, and it made me fast AF with no loose clothing. If I start clipping in on my gravel bike, I could really get going!

As is, I was fast enough to haul ass down to 470 and enjoy that Mary Carter cushy gravel before booking it back home. Gonna take a quick rinse before heading to the in-laws for Christmas dinner. Happy holidays, everyone!
