My xc ski partner decided to sleep in and bail on a morning ski outing -- something about bitterly cold temperatures.
I awoke to ... bitterly cold temperatures.
Decided to bail on the Cog for what would have been delightful even if leftover powder.
Went instead to Bretton Woods for a quick skin/ski lap for ... bitterly cold temperatures and delightful leftover powder.
But zero wind and lotsa sun, so not really *bitterly* cold.
Upon returning, my xc ski partner was game for an outdoor photo shoot for her 16th bday, given that the deck was in the sun and out of any wind, so the temperatures that had warmed from -4F to -1F felt ... cold, but not quite bitterly cold.
