Here’s a rich, fudgy brownie recipe that’s a crowd-pleaser and easy to execute—great if you care about texture and flavor (which I know you do 😉).

Ultimate Fudgy Brownies

Ingredients (makes 9–12 brownies)
	•	170 g (¾ cup) unsalted butter
	•	200 g (1 cup) granulated sugar
	•	100 g (½ cup) brown sugar (for moisture + chew)
	•	2 large eggs, room temperature
	•	1 tsp vanilla extract
	•	75 g (¾ cup) unsweetened cocoa powder (Dutch-process preferred)
	•	95 g (¾ cup) all-purpose flour
	•	½ tsp salt
	•	½ tsp espresso powder (optional but boosts chocolate flavor)
	•	120 g (¾ cup) dark chocolate chunks or chips (optional but recommended)

Method
	1.	Prep
	•	Preheat oven to 170°C (340°F).
	•	Line an 8×8-inch (20×20 cm) pan with parchment.
	2.	Melt & Mix
	•	Melt butter gently (stovetop or microwave).
	•	While still warm, whisk in both sugars until glossy.
	3.	Eggs
	•	Whisk in eggs one at a time, beating well after each.
	•	Stir in vanilla. The batter should look thick and shiny.
	4.	Dry Ingredients
	•	Sift together cocoa powder, flour, salt, and espresso powder.
	•	Fold into the batter gently—stop as soon as combined.
	5.	Chocolate
	•	Fold in chocolate chunks if using.
	6.	Bake
	•	Pour into pan, smooth the top.
	•	Bake 22–26 minutes.
	•	A toothpick should come out with moist crumbs, not wet batter.
	7.	Cool (Important!)
	•	Let cool completely before slicing for maximum fudginess.
