Shakeout Run With Indoor Track Team

A month ago Zach Young told me to register with one of the relay teams for his 100k race. I did not, and when it was too late I tried appealing to the race director 😉 but alas, deadlines are deadlines. 
I had intended to pace alongside some others, but ultimately my laziness won. 

In solidarity of those that ran yesterday, I did my own 10k today. I did the first two miles with Charlie! - a dog - and then headed to Greystone on my own and did two miles on the snowy trails. 

It should be said that Zach Young and his running endeavors are some of the most impressive and motivating events out there. It is not easy to do what he does, and yet, that never stops him. 

So congrats to him and everyone yesterday. Maybe I’ll sign up on time for the next one!
