My most ‘laziest’ year ever since I joined Strava getting into cycling 10 years ago. Haven’t even managed a 100 mile ride all year 😄 Was looking to ticking that off the list yesterday!

Warm to freezing 🍊🥭☀️❄️

First time in all my years of cycling I’ve been hit by a car. Hit by a deer yes other cyclists yes and many close calls from over drivers. Was very ‘fortunate’ how mad that sounds. I was coming down mistley hill from the chipshop towards the railway station when a car from the other side just cut across my path out of nowhere to the junction on my left right in front of me in a world of their own. I hit the side towards the back of the car the whole left side of body taking full force and did a somersault landing on my backside.  Taking my gloves off slapping them to the ground and just laid out like a starfish in disbelief in the middle of the road! All my left side is mashed up quite a lot of pain nothing broken apart from my bike 🥲 

Hit save before taken to hospital!

Loved that bike 🥲
