Saved the biggest & best for last. Knew this was the longest road climb in the US but still wasn’t quite prepared for the size of it. Basically 40 miles steady up - 7k ft higher & 30 deg lower at the top. Block headwind for the first half made this one rival the Sabot for toughest climb I’ve done. Not quite as hard though. Incredible  views the whole way made it well worth the effort.
