Thais are weird people! They’re usually very nice and friendly, but on the other hand completely reckless and detached from others around. That means that no one cares when some maniacs are using fireworks in the middle of the night. Apart of some loud boom sounds we were able to sleep well. I did some yoga and training in the morning before we took off in direction to Surat Thani where we wanted to take the night train to Bangkok. 
First day with rain in Thailand. But we were lucky and had rain just at the start of our ride. The route I had planned went first a little bit into the mountains next to the Kao Sok lake where was supposed to be a lookout. Unfortunately every road towards the lookout from our side was closed, after three times being stopped by road blocks with park rangers we decided to give up on it and continue our ride to Surat Thani.
Nice thing about the route was that it was mostly little roads through the jungle and later on to our surprise we were hitting some very smooth and fun to ride gravel into Surat Thani. The kind of gravel I had imagined before we started our trip in Thailand. Now on our last day my dreams came true. We had a little food stop close to Ban Ta Khun and arrived in Surat Thani short after sunset. We booked two beds in the night train before we had dinner at a river restaurant with vegan options close to the train station. The booking of the bikes was another obstacle due to the completely overburdening of Thai people. It was a pain in the ass and had cost as many nerves until we had our bikes on a separate train to Bangkok. In the end everything turned out fine.
