Last possible day to run it. Cold air was a bit painful on my lungs. Feet turned to blocks of ice after 2km.

I had meticulously calculated the per-km times I needed to overtake Andrew King on WAVA time, and all 5 splits were ahead of requirement. Overall, 24s ahead of the time I wanted. It also meant I narrowly pinched 3rd for the year from him 1632 vs 1630 points. His elapsed WAVA time is less than mine by 8 seconds though.

I also optimized the start this time, using George's trace to see what should definitely be possible. This let me get 3s ahead of Andrew "on the road" which was a surprise. He's easily beaten me for the yearly "on the road" competition, coming 3rd to my 4th (David Currie top, George second)
