Great morning. Mountain has recovered from the thaw/freeze thanks to dribs and drabs last few days and then 5 or 6” last night, enough to open the natural snow terrain back up and even get into the woods a bit. Hardly anyone there at 8am, and got lucky to be there at rope drop for upper and lower Birdland, Mall, Moonshine/Twist so got half a dozen powder runs. Tricky skiing with light pow on top of frozen moguls. Need an A game to really kill it but fortunately my B game was good enough to survive and have some fun. Ran into Thatcher for a few runs then Michelle and Robert. Great start to 2026! 🎉
