Pausing to reflect?
~ Last 2025 run from the office to Caro

I usually only pause my activities — a run, bike ride, hike, and so on — when I have to stop for traffic lights, take photos, or catch up with someone I’m training with.
Today, I had to stop to let a train pass. It didn’t take long, but it made me think: do we ever really pause to reflect?

Do we reflect on our blessings this year?
I’m grateful for so many things, even though I know I haven’t always expressed that gratitude.

Above all, I’m most thankful for the girl I call my girlfriend. Caroline Kersbergen is more precious than gold. 💛
