A slightly delayed start and a hard chase to catch the group with a little mechanical bobble caused a little too much separation for me today. 

Don’t wait on friends that won’t wait on you. The Dallas vibe is strong in Bentonville. Loneliest group ride ever. Those were all possible titles of my ride today that were floating through my head early as I conceded that I wasn’t going to catch them. 

I didn’t need any of those  though because Mark Macklin  called and said he was waiting. Riding buddies are a dime a dozen in Bentonville, friends are not. Thanks for waiting Mark.
