It was fun to get out on New Year’s Day! However, lots of blue ice under that thin loose snow.  One notable section to avoid is lower mammoth. The last 3 or 4 turns are sheer ice- Fell 3 times in one minute. It’s time to create the cut off at the bottom end of mammoth (the one that was there last winter). Shoreline should also be avoided for the moment.
