Truthfully it’s been difficult to keep momentum in the saddle this year for one reason/stupid excuse or another, and it’s way harder than “new year new me” with the flip of a calendar. It changes less than one might think in reality. 

Will pass on elaborating all the reasons this ride was a disappointing start to the new year.
