Kicking the new year off with a whimper

It’s a new year and that means a whole year lies ahead for 1ks! Saw in the forecast a gap late morning to early afternoon down here and decided to send it with the high snow levels. Had to park a half mile back from normal because of a couple downed trees. Didn’t see a soul, but brush was minor and the sun was out at times. Really was hoping to get a decent view of Riffe Lake, but if there is one it’s not along this route
