Scary Situation

Moments before disaster

The "easy" 5k road loop turned into trail, turned into nothing, so you can see on the map where I lost the trail in the dark and bushwhacked (way too fun of a word for what it actually was) down the mountain, crossed a stream and found another small trail in the dark. Fortunately I made it back to the road and a very kind person let me borrow their phone to let my parents know I was almost home

Thanking God a little extra tonight 🫶
