Took the gamble on Strazzberry and made a bad bet.  Ice and snow for the first 1.3 miles up the road. More packed snow up until the steep part of the old Jeep Road then relatively easy-going even to the top. Moved surprisingly well on the way down, but had to be careful on the icy sections. Then decided to hit 10k vert for the week by going off trail up a pretty sketchy scree field.  I think I’m going to play at Smart and do the least specific running activities for a bit at least until we figure out what winter is going to look like.
