~44k in 8hrs
Felt good. Was meaning for ~20k but the weather was beyond perfect and I was stocked tf up with food. 15k in asked a couple if it is worth it to go to the summit (I didn't want to) and they urged me to.  Happy to have been pushed into running saddle, peak + extra  sneaky lake view on the way out (guarantee I would have enough km for a marathon). Legs where pretty shot on the way down but with the idea I might not come back in quite some time the extra small viewpoint at the end was the final push. Even tho I know it doesn't count without the Strava mishap I'm thinking I was in for just over a marathon ~44k. A marathon is never a bad way to start off the new year.
