I think I'm the only person to visit Oberon multiple times and every time I've come here I've ridden. Every time my bikes are heavy.

Last time was having ridden a road bike through a state forest at night, realising this is how people 'disappear'. Then leaving Oberon late on the evening to sleep in a ditch and wake up with hypothermia.

Today was with an extra serving of hills I found with someone who struggled to express their appreciation of my route planning and who didn't enjoy the glorious hours of uninterrupted sunshine.

Most people would say "it was fucking hot".

Lake Lyell was cool. Tarana pub was nice. The Cave pizza was amazing.

Onto Crookwell.
