Legs feeling a bit flat to start after a rest day, so took a loop around Puketapu to properly warmup.

Started in earnest on the "Park Island to Bayview" long segment, often fighting the strong NW wind.

Had a breather then went hard in alternating directions around Whakamaharantanga, braking late around turns and surging hard out of them! Wind was gusting even harder out there and felt horrible when heading W at the start of the loops, but managed to push through and hold good power afterwards.

Cruising home at slightly lower effort and still got back to Park Island only ~40secs slower than the trip out!
