Afternoon Nordic Ski with Junior Race Preview

Course preparations are well underway for Saturday’s 30k SISU cross country ski race. Dave Sereno and I skied part of the course and some of our other favorite trails. Conditions are fabulous and the aid station captains are setting up shop, including construction of a giant snowman and dog-sized igloo. The ice falls here are red thanks to the iron, copper and other ores in the rocks.
